My Homegrown Identity project, 'Flour and Foe' is a 100% gluten free cafe and restaurant. Born from my many food related disasters as a result of my lifelong gluten allergy, it is a playful take on food related anxiety.
Flour and Foe, adapting the saying 'Friends and Foe', aims to embrace the nervousness that plagues many allergy sufferers. It doesn't shy away from food anxiety, but instead empowers individuals with confidence to challenge the notion that eating out is dangerous.
